Welcome to the Stanford University Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship
The Stanford University Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship is an ACGME accredited training program in Hospice and Palliative Medicine (HPM). We are the oldest training program in the nation and also the first program in the nation to be funded by the Department of Veterans Affairs. Our program was the first in the nation to become an ACGME accredited training program.
It is specifically designed to train physicians from the fields of Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Anesthesiology, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, Psychiatry and Neurology, Surgery, Emergency Medicine, and Obstetrics and Gynecology in the knowledge and skills necessary for a career in HPM.
Thank you for your interest in our program and please contact us with any questions.
